Hilo Criminal Investigation Section detectives arrested a 26-year-old Hilo woman Thursday (June 10, 1999) for conspiracy to commit murder.
The suspect, identified as Maraea Laranang, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. at her Kalanianaole Avenue residence after she had obtained a handgun to commit the act.
She is being held in the Hilo police cellblock pending further investigation.
