An autopsy conducted Thursday (February 1, 2001) determined that a 19-year-old Pepeekeo male died of a single gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim was identified as Kallen James Agliam, whose body was found Wednesday evening in the Pepeekeo area South Hilo.
South Hilo patrol officers responded to a 5:17 p.m. report from a passerby that the body of a man was lying on the shoulder of the roadway of the old Hilo Coast Processing Plant road. Upon arrival, officers found Agliam’s body.Hilo Criminal Investigation detectives are continuing a murder investigation.
