Big Island police arrested and charged a 39-year-old man wanted for escape. Nathan Keali’i Apolo is wanted for escaping from the Hawai’i Community Correctional Center’s Hale Nani Facility on Wednesday (August 17) at 6:20 p.m.

Apolo was arrested and charged on August 26th with escape in the second degree, his bail was set at $10,000 and he was transferred back into the custody of the Department of Public Safety.
