Kona patrol officers responded to a reported robbery at 8:21 p.m. Thursday (March 18) in the parking lot behind a hotel on Ali’i Drive and HualĂ„?lai Road. Officers determined that a woman was walking from work to her parked car when she was confronted by two males demanding money.

The woman was shoved to the ground. She reached into her purse and handed them an undetermined amount of cash. The suspects then fled on foot. They were described as a tall Caucasian male and a shorter local male.

The victim sustained minor injuries from being shoved to the ground.
