Big Island police are requesting for the public’s help in locating a 21 year-old Hilo woman who is reported missing.

Chelsea Ryan is described as Caucasian, about 5’ 8” tall and weighing about 125 lbs. She has shoulder length blonde or dirty blonde hair, green eyes and a fair complexion. She has a tattoo of a dove on one of her ankles.

Ryan was last seen on Thursday (April 28, 2011) in Hilo at about 2:00 pm. It is unknown why type of clothing Ryan was wearing at the time. She may be in the company of a Caucasion male named “Alex” who is described as 6’ tall, about 200 lbs., with short brown hair, brown eyes, and a fair complexion.

Police ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts call Detective Norbert Serrao of the Area I Criminal Investigation Section at 961-2383. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
