Big Island police are searching for a 17-year-old girl reported missing from her Hilo residence since February 16, 2006.

The youth is identified as Brandy DE COSTA. She is described as part Hawaiian, 4’10” in height, about 129 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about DECOSTA’s whereabouts is asked to call Officer BJ Duarte of the East Hawaii Juvenile Aid Section at 961-2278 or the police non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
