Wanted on a bench warrant

Big Island police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 19-year-old Keaau Gomes, who is wanted on a bench warrant issued by the Big Island Drug Court.

Gomes is described as Portuguese, 5-foot-7, about 150 pounds with a medium build, brown eyes and brown hair. His last known address was 389 Hilinai Street, Hilo.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Officer DuWayne Waipa of the South Hilo Community Policing Section at 961-8121 or the non-emergency number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
