Wanted on a bench warrant

Big Island police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 42-year-old Franklin Rivera Sr., who is wanted on a bench warrant issued by Big Island Drug Court.

Rivera is described as Filipino, 5-foot-6, 180 pounds with a medium build, brown eyes and brown hair. His last known address was 133 Baker Avenue in Hilo.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Officer DuWayne Waipa at 961-8121 or the Police Department’s non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
