Media Release

The Hawai’i Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating the owners of property discovered during a burglary investigation.

Among the items are a women’s silver wrist watch with the inscription “Shirley B. Martin 1965” and a green military-type duffle bag with the name “Tsunco Tanaka.”

Police ask that anyone with information about these items or the identity of their owners call Detective Kelley Matsumoto at 961-2380 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
