The Hawai’i Police Department is investigating the theft of 16 galvanized corral panels from pasture land in the North Hilo District.

Eight 5 1/2-foot by 12-foot panels and eight 6-foot by 12-foot panels were removed from a ranch on Kamaee Road in Umauma sometime between August 1 and September 24. The stolen goods are valued at $4,000.

Police ask that anyone with information about the case call Officer Michael DeCoito at 962-2120 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
