Media Release (update)

A 28-year-old South Kona man arrested Tuesday (April 20) for a violent crime spree was charged with 10 offenses Thursday morning (April 22).

Daniel “Dukie” Abraham was charged at 10 a.m. with kidnapping, first-degree assault, two counts of third-degree assault, three counts of first-degree terroristic threatening and three counts of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle. He is being held at the Kona police cellblock in lieu of $100,000 bail pending an initial court appearance scheduled for Monday.

A man arrested with Abraham, 24-year-old Kainoa Jake Kahoalii of South Kona, was charged with unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle and is being held at the cellblock in lieu of $10,000 bail.
