Media Release (update No. 2)

Police have identified the last two victims of a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday that killed five people on Highway 11 near Pāhala.

The occupants of the 2002 Ford pickup truck, which overturned in the crash and caught fire, were identified as 64-year-old Richard Taylor of Naʻalehu and 56-year-old Trinidad Ballesteros of Naʻalehu.

An autopsy determined that they died from the fire. Their identities were confirmed by dental records.
