…charged with three counts of burglary

Media Release (update)

Area I Criminal Investigations Section detectives have charged 23-year-old Edward Daniel Geraghty of Hilo with one count of  first-degree burglary and two counts of second-degree burglary. His bail was set at $45,000.

Geraghty is being held at the Hilo police cellblock.

Geraghty turned himself in to police Monday (February 1) at 12:30 p.m. He was also arrested and charged with contempt of court in connection with a bench warrant.

Geraghty was originally arrested on two counts of burglary. Detectives arrested and charged him for a third burglary offense after their investigation linked him to a burglary in Kailua-Kona.
