Hawaii County police are asking for the public’s help in identify the vandalists who painted graffiti in eight locations in Keaukaha between April 27 and April 29.

The graffiti consists of what appears to be a stenciled painting of rifles on public roads. Seven of the graffiti paintings are on Kalanianaole Avenue and Lokoaka Street. One is on Nene Street.

Police ask anyone with any information about the case to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
