The Hawai’i Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the owner of a Hawaiian bracelet recovered during a police investigation in the South Kohala District.

Police have been unable to find or identify the rightful owner of the bracelet. It is a wide gold band with black letters that form the name”Maikalani.”

Police ask anyone with information about the identity of the owner to call Officer Donnie Millet at 887-3080 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
