Media Release

The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League program (HI-PAL) will reinstate its Boys and Girls Student Basketball League Program in March and April. This league is for 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students only. Teams from outside organizations are permitted to participate.

Teams are made up of interested participants who did not participate in any BIIF basketball games. Any student whose name was on a BIIF roster is considered a BIIF participant.

Games will be played at Papaikou Gym on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

The HI-PAL program would like to encourage responsible adults to get involved and coach a team in this league. Interested coaches and anyone with questions about the league are asked to call Office Joseph Botelho Jr. at 961-2219, 961-2220 or 896-9710. The HI-PAL fax number is 961-2219 or 961-8120.
