The Hawai’i Police Department is investigating a burglary in the Hawaiian Ocean View Estates subdivision of Ka’u.

Sometime between 7:41 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Monday (April 13), someone entered a home on Tiki Lane and removed several electronic items, including a PlayStation 3 video game console, an Xbox 360 video game console, several games for both consoles, a laptop computer and a Kodak digital cameral. The burglar also sprayed paint throughout the house and stole a car key and a white 1999 Oldsmobile Alero with the license plate HDF 329.

Police ask that anyone with information about this case call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
