Media Release (update)

An autopsy was conducted Thursday (November 6) on 75-year-old Takeo Nagamine of Holualoa, who was involved in a November 4th tractor-trailer crash on Queen Kaahumanu Highway, 333 feet north of the 94-mile-marker. The autopsy concluded that he died of a heart attack and not from injuries sustained in the crash.

This death will not be counted toward the island’s traffic fatality count.
