Big Island police are searching for a 39-year-old Puna man who was reported missing.

Tomas Joseph Calapit of Pāhoa was last seen at 9:00 a.m. Sunday (November 6) at his residence.

He is described as Filipino, 5-foot-7, about 120-150 pounds, thin build, dark complexion, medium length black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, jeans, and brown shoes.  He is known to frequent the Downtown Hilo area and has a medical condition which requires medication.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Detective Norbert Serrao at 961-2383. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
