The Hawai’i Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 35-year-old man who has been missing from his Mountain View home since Friday (September 4).

Jason Adams was last seen leaving his home during the morning hours to go to Hilo. He was operating a silver 2000 Nissan Frontier pickup truck with a makeshift pipe rack affixed to its tailgate.

Police found the truck on the Onomea Scenic Route on Saturday (September 5). They searched the general area but were unable to find Adams.

Police ask that anyone with information about his whereabouts call Officer Donovan Kohara at 961-2213 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
