Big Island police are searching for a visitor reported as missing.

Jordan Bauer was camping at a farm near Waipio and was expected to return but failed to do so. He was last seen around 10 a.m. May 6 at a cafe in Honoka‘a.

He is described as Caucasian, approximately 25 years old, 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall, lean with pale skin, short light-brown hair. He is known to wear heavy eyeglasses.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
