Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 83-year-old Kailua-Kona man.

Felix Canonigo was last seen between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Monday (December 27) at his home on Plumeria Street in the Ali’i Kai subdivision .

He is described as Filipino, 5-foot-3, 130-140 pounds with white hair and brown eyes. He walks with a shuffle and was last seen wearing black slacks, a brown plaid shirt and black house slippers.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe.
