Media Release

Big Island police are searching for a 64-year-old Hāwī man who was reported missing.

Phillip Hollenbeck was last seen walking away from Hilo Medical Center at 1:30 a.m. Thursday (June 30). He has several medical conditions that require medication.

He is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-8, 165 pounds with hazel eyes, gray hair and a goatee. He was walking with a cane and wearing an orange and brown shirt, black shorts, a khaki baseball hat and black sandals.

Police received an unconfirmed report that someone fitting his description was later seen at Moʻoheau bus stop in Hilo.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.
