Big Island police are searching for a 69-year-old Hilo man reported as missing.

Robert Johns was last seen in Hilo on Saturday morning (August 20). He has a medical condition that requires medication.

Johns [corrected name] is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-11, 145 pounds with a thin build and a tan complexion. He has short white hair and brown eyes. He is possibly operating an older-model black Toyota pickup truck and may have two dogs with him.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
