Media Release

Hawaii County police are searching for a 16-year-old boy reported missing from his Papaikou home since February 18. Dryson Bento is described as Filipino, 5-foot-8, about 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency number at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
