Media Release

The Hawaii Police Department is searching for a 17-year-old girl reported missing from Kapaau, North Kohala, since November 18. 

Lyndell Murai is described as Japanese, 5-foot-4, about 187 pounds with long black hair and brown eyes. She maybe in the Kona area and in the company of a 30-year-old man identified as Brandon K. Lancaster. Lancaster is described as part Hawaiian, 6-feet tall and 330 pounds. They may be using a light green, 1992, Honda Accord 4-door sedan, license plate number HVA140. 

Police ask anyone with information on Murai’s whereabouts to call the Hawaii Police Department’s non-emergency line 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers calls are kept confidential.
