Big Island police are searching for a 23-year-old woman reported as missing.

Cassandra Hernandez left her Hilo home at 8 p.m. Tuesday (July 20) and has not returned.

She is described as 5-foot-1, about 120 pounds with a tan complexion, black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts call Detective John Rodrigues at 961-2382 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
