Media Release

The Hawai’i Police department would like to remind the public that, although parking may be limited, some areas along Kalaniana’ole Street in Keaukaha are designated “No Parking” zones. These areas are designed to allow emergency vehicles access to assist the public.

With the summer season approaching, the number of beach goers is expected to increase, leading to a potential parking shortage. Police ask the public to take extra care not to park where signs prohibit parking.

With your assistance, we can all make this summer a safe and enjoyable one.

The public may direct questions and inquiries to the Community Policing office at 961-8121.
