…’Officer of the Month’ for Kona

Media Release

The Kona Crime Prevention Committee recognized Officer Kalae Lee as "Officer of the Month" in a luncheon ceremony Wednesday (December 3) at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel.

Officer Lee was being recognized for his work in the arrest of a suspected drug dealer and the recovery of 89.5 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

As "Officer of the Month," he is eligible to become "Officer of the Year."

The Kona Crime Prevention Committee is an organization that encourages community involvement in aiding and supporting police in West Hawaii.
