Media Release (update)

Police traffic investigators have identified the pedestrian who was killed Monday (December 13) in a motor vehicle/pedestrian collision on the Hawai’i Belt Road (Route 19), .5 miles west of the 38-mile marker in the Hāmākua District.

The victim was identified as 39-year-old Zachary L. Williams of a Honoka’a address.
