Hawaiʻi Island police have identified a man arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder in connection with a stabbing in Puna on Tuesday afternoon (November 5) in the Eden Roc subdivision.

The suspect is identified as 34-year-old David True Seal of Mountain View. He is being held at the Hilo police cellblock while detectives from the Area I Criminal Investigations continue the investigation.

The victim was officially pronounced dead at 11:11 p.m. Tuesday at Hilo Medical Center. His identity is being withheld pending positive identification and notification of his family.
