Hawaii County police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person or persons who stole five computers from Laupahoehoe High School.

The brand-new black and silver Lenovo brand laptop computers were removed from the school sometime in February. They are valued at $1,000 each.

Police ask anyone with information about the computers to call Officer Michael DeCoito at 962-2120 or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 392-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
