Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 35-year-old Puna man wanted for driving recklessly and resisting an order to stop on January 12.

Samson Perez of the Ainaloa subdivision is described as part Hawaiian, 6-foot-1, 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has a teardrop tattoo under each eye and was last seen with wavy, shoulder-length hair.
He operates a red-and-white dirt bike type motorcycle.

Police ask that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the Police Departemnt’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona.
