Hawaiʻi Island police have located 51-year-old Benjamin Fonseca of Hilo, who was wanted for theft.

He turned himself in at the South Hilo police station Wednesday afternoon and was arrested and charged on a bench warrant for contempt of court.

He was also arrested on suspicion of second-degree theft and 28 count of forgery. He is being held at the Hilo police cellblock while detectives from the Area I Criminal Investigations Section continue the investigation.
