Body of adult male found in Puna residence 12-03-03

Police have initiated a coroner’s inquest after finding the body of an adult male Wednesday (December 3, 2003) at a Leilani Estates residence in Puna.

Responding to an 8:06 a.m. call, Puna patrol officers and paramedics located the body at a Malama Street residence. The unidentified man had died of an undetermined cause.

East Hawaii Criminal Investigation Section detectives are continuing an investigation into the man’s death and have scheduled an autopsy Friday morning to determine the exact cause of his death.

Anyone with information about the death or the identity of the victim is asked to call Detective Benton Bolos of the East Hawaii CIS at 961-2385 or the police non-emergency number at 935-3311.
