Media Release

The most recent edition of the Crime Stoppers television program "Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted" features a Paradise Park man wanted for the sexual assault of a minor, a Pahoa man wanted for several outstanding warrants and a Kamuela man reported missing in February.

The new episode begins airing tonight (July 25).

In it, police ask for the public’s help in locating 28-year-old Mauro Martin Ortiz, who is wanted for sexually assaulting a female minor on June 22 in Hawaiian Paradise Park. On July 10, a grand jury indicted Ortiz on seven counts of first-degree sexual assault, five counts of third-degree sexual assault and one count of kidnapping. His bail was set at one-million dollars.

Ortiz is still at large. Police believe he may be in the Kona or South Kohala area. Ortiz is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-6, about 180 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. Police caution the public not approach him but to call Detective Alston Kimura at 961-2278 if they know Ortiz’ whereabouts.

"Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted" also asks for help in finding 19-year-old Alexander Kaleookalani Lancaster of Pahoa. He is wanted for several outstanding warrants, including a no-bail warrant for violating conditions of release on bail. Lancaster is described as Hawaiian, 5-foot-7, 180 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. On his upper back, he has a tattoo that says "Lancaster." He should be considered armed and dangerous.

The program also asks for the public’s help in locating Frank Ng Jr., who was reported missing on February 13. He is described as Hawaiian, 5-foot-8, about 175 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Ng has a tattoo on his left forearm and another on his back. Police received an unconfirmed report that he may be on Maui. They ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Detective Kenneth Quiocho at 326-4646, extension 281.

The host of "Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted," Assistant Chief Henry Tavares, asks anyone with information about the wanted or missing persons to call the numbers above, the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo and 329-8181 in Kona.
