MEDIA RELEASE

The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League is looking for responsible and reliable adults interested in coaching or helping with a team for the upcoming annual islandwide HI-PAL Boys and Girls Intermediate Basketball League.

Anyone interested in coaching for the HI-PAL program is asked to call HI-PAL’s East Hawaii office at 961-2219 or 961-2220 or the West Hawaii office at 326-4276.

A mandatory coaches’ meeting for East Hawaii teams will be held a 6 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2001, on the Boys and Girls Club lanai. Adults must be present at this meeting to confirm that they will be coaching a team.

A meeting for West Hawaii coaches will be announced at a later date.
