MEDIA RELEASE

The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League is now signing up teams for the annual islandwide HI-PAL Summer Basketball League.

The age groups of youngsters eligible to participate in the league are ages 5 and 6; ages 7 and 8; ages 9 and 10; boys ages 11 and 12; girls ages 11 and 12; boys 13 and 14; girls 14 and younger; high school boys; and high school girls.

The deadline for registration is June 5, 2002.

Anyone interested in placing a team is asked to call the West Hawaii HI-PAL Office at 326-4276 or to page Officer Joseph Kealoha at 899-9205.
