MEDIA RELEASE

The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League will sponsor basketball officiating clinics in East and West Hawaii.

The East Hawaii clinic will be held May 1 to June 12. The date for West Hawaii clinic will be announced later.

The HI-PAL clinics are open to anyone 15 years of age or older. Registration will be taken from now until the classes start.

Basketball rules and officiating mechanics will be covered through lectures and videos. On successfully completing the classes, participants will officiate at games in the upcoming HI-PAL Summer Basketball League.

Interested individuals should call the Hilo office at 961-2219 or 961-2220 or the Kona office at 326-4276.
