MEDIA RELEASE

The Hawaii Isle Police Activities League and the Orchid Isle Umpires Association will sponsor an Umpires Clinic for anyone interested in becoming baseball and softball umpires.

The clinic, tentative scheduled for sometime in September, will involve a review of the rules of both baseball and softball, basic umpire mechanics, training videos and practical exercises.

Interested persons are asked to call the HI-PAL office at 961-2220 for information or registration.
