Hilo Criminal Investigation Section detectives are investigating a fight Saturday (March 26, 2000) in which two men were arrested for using knives in an assault on three victims at Hilo’s Onekahakaha Beach Park.

At 6:30 p.m. Saturday, two Hilo men, aged 49 and 42, were arrested. At 3 a.m. Sunday, the suspects were released without charge pending further investigation.

The three victims were taken to the Hilo Medical Center for treatment of knife wounds and released.
