Media Release

Big Island Police have identified the bodies of a male and a female party who were discovered in a residence in the 1200 block of Kilauea Avenue in Hilo.

The male was positively identified as Jon P. Gizewski, 44, of Hilo.

The female was also positively identified as Jackie Lynn Baker, 49, also of Hilo.

Detectives from the Area I Criminal Investigation Section are continuing their investigation and do not believe foul play is involved. Autopsies will be performed on Friday to determine the exact causes of death.
