Police are looking for a 17-year-old boy who has been reported missing from his Hilo residence since August 26, 2003.

He is William Chad Elston. Elston is described as being Caucasian, being 6 feet in height, weighing about 150 pounds, having a slim build and fair complexion and having brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Officer Peter Kualii of the East Hawaii Juvenile Aid Section at 961-2373 or the police non-emergency telephone number at 935-3311.

Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept strictly confidential.
