MEDIA RELEASE

Hamakua police are looking for a 16-year-old boy who stabbed a 15-year-old boy in the back Tuesday (October 5, 1999) in the parking lot of the Hale Hauole apartment building in Honokaa.

The victim was taken to the North Hawaii Community Hospital for treatment of his wounds.

His assailant fled the scene with another male.

Police said the stabbing occurred after the assailant and his victim got into an argument.

No other details were immediately available.
