KEIKI CAUTION — Sixth grade students at Ernest B. De Silva Elementary School caution motorists to slow down near the school on Ainako Street. Thirteen pupils from classes taught by Coleen Alba and Beverly Takimoto joined school counselor Tim Oliveira and community policing officers to remind motorists to obey the speed limit of 25 miles an hour. About 60 students in all from the two classes were involved in making and waiving the signs. The activity was part of the Police Department’s Community-Traffic Awareness Project (C-TAP), designed to remind motorists to obey traffic laws in problem areas.
