Police traffic investigators have identified a 59-year-old Hilo woman who died Tuesday (March 25) from injuries she sustained in a two-vehicle collision on the Hawaii Belt Road (Route 11), .3 miles south of the 99-mile-marker.

The victim was identified as Maydell Uilani Perreira.

This crash was the 10th traffic fatality on the Big Island this year compared with nine at this time last year.
