Big Island police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person or persons responsible for an outbreak of graffiti in the Kona district.

The graffiti appeared in and around Kailua town over the last three weeks.

Police ask anyone with any information about the graffiti to call Officer Luke Watkins or Sergeant William Souther at 326-4646, extension 253, or the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
