Kona Juvenile Aid Section officers have arrested four juvenile males they said are responsible for vandalizing public and private property with graffiti.

Three juveniles — one of them 14 and the other two 15 — were arrested Saturday, October 9, 1999. The fourth, 17 years old, was arrested Thursday, October 14, 1999.

A total of 26 arrests were made, where one was for felony criminal property damage and the remaining 25 were for petty misdemeanor property damages. After being arrested and questioned, they were turned over to the custody of their parents. The case has been referred to the Family Court.

Police said the four defaced public and private property at 13 different locations throughout Kona, causing damages estimated at $4,950.
