…reunited with his mother …arrested in Florida

Media Release (update)

Police in Florida have located a missing Arizona boy and his non-custodial father.

Nine-year-old Benjamin Kaiser-Griffin had been missing since May 21 and authorities in Chandler, Arizona, thought he might be in Hawai’i.

His father, 43-year-old James Anthony Kaiser, was arrested Saturday (September 5) in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and his being held pending extradition proceedings. The boy has been reunited with his mother.

The case was listed on the web site for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. It was also featured on “Hawai’i Island’s Most Wanted.”
