Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 38-year-old Puna woman who was reported missing.

Layla A. Fikes of Mountain View was last seen in Hilo at noon on December 28.

She is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-6, 115 pounds with brown eyes and brown medium-length hair. She has a medical condition that may require medical attention.

Police ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Detective Joel Field at 961-2381. Detective Field may also be reached by email at jfield@co.hawaii.hi.us.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
